Open Question: What are some good online games?

I am looking for some new online multiplayer games with good fun graphics! I am looking for games like my sims or something where you live in a town or world except online mmo! But i mean free that you can download and maybe anime

i have already heard of:
second-life
there
imvu
gaia online
sims online
nothing like neopets

If you can come up with something that would be a biiiig help!!!
